Daniele Pascal

1977- Daniele won The Canadian Best Actor award for her role of Germaine in Les Belles Soeurs, a play by French playwright Michel Tremblay.
1985-1987, Bravo Piaf, a musical drama directed by the late Taubie Kushlick. The play was voted “Best musical production” at the Standard Bank National Arts Festival in Grahamstown. Daniele returned to Canada
1988- The Power of Piaf, written and directed by Lily Charpentier premieres to acclaim at The State Theatre in Pretoria, The Market Theatre in Johannesburg playing to capacity houses for 8 months (broke all box office records as the longest running show in South Africa) The Playhouse in Durban and The Baxter Theatre in Cape Town for more than a year. The play tours Europe and Mexico to acclaim.
1992-1994 Daniele tours Canada, Netherlands and South Africa with Heart to Heart / Paris Berlin.
1995 Bird on a Wire -the songs of Leonard Cohen. A tribute to Daniele's Canadian friend.Written and directed by Daniele, the show premiered at the Standard Bank National Arts Festival and played at all the major theatres in South Africa to acclaim. Bird on a Wire was scripted using various interviews of Leonard Cohen. Daniele worked with Leonard Cohen during the 1960's.

1996 Sawdust and Stars. Devised by Daniele and directed by Erik de Waal, is an enchanting tale of a circus girl who grows up dreaming of stars. This musical play was inspired by Danièle's grandfather, who was one of the Flying Dupinay brothers, a world famous flying trapeze act during the vaudeville era.

1997 Fallen Angel. Written and directed by Pluto Panoussis is rock musical tribute to 60's pop icon Marianne Faithfull. Pascal's portrayal is described as “outrageous, indestructible and enigmatic”. This controversial play toured successfully and was even presented at schools in a drug awareness program. Fallen Angel premiered at KKNK to capacity houses and extra performances.

1998 Edith. Written and directed by Pluto Panoussis, is an unusual, provocative and evocative tribute to the songs of the legendary sparrow.

1999-2006 Various cabarets such as La vie, I'amour, Nostalgia, La vie en Rose, A touch of Venus, C'est si bon, Colours of Love, Danièle- the song, Soul for Sale, Here's to life, Pascal sings Brel, Vagabond, Hymne a I'amour, Nostalgia, and Chanson d'amour.

During 2003-2004, Danièle performed on various European cruise liners visiting Greece, French Riviera, Portugal, Majorca and Senegal.

2007- Daniele tours with her platinum selling album Parisette that features a collection of French Café songs. In November she was the headline act on cruise liners visiting Mauritius, Seychelles and Madagascar.
